What this site collects and what we do with it. Effective September 29, 2026.
This site has no accounts, no checkout and no shopping cart. We collect what you type into a form, plus ordinary anonymous traffic statistics. If you give us an email address and leave the email box ticked, we will also send you our marketing email. We do not sell your information, and we do not run advertising on this site.
Our contact, wishlist, transfer and consignment forms ask for your name, a phone number and an email address, along with whatever you write in the message. The consignment, wishlist and contact forms also let you attach photographs. You choose what to put in; none of it is taken automatically.
We use it to answer you. A wishlist entry is kept so we can call you if the item turns up; a consignment enquiry is kept while we work out what your item is worth. Form submissions are delivered to our own Fun Guns mailboxes and stay in our email the way any customer message does. We also keep your name, phone number and email address in our customer database, so we know who has been in touch with us before.
Every form has a box for our marketing email, and it starts out ticked. Leave it ticked and we may email you when there is something worth knowing, like used guns coming in. Untick it and we will not. It covers email only: a phone number you give us on a form is never used to sign you up for text messages. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
If you text JOIN to (409) 741-9808, we'll text you back a link to confirm. Once you confirm, we'll text you new arrivals and shop news. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop, or HELP for help. Our texts are sent through our marketing provider, Alpine IQ, and may come from a different number than the one you texted. We never sell or share your phone number or your text sign-up with anyone else for their marketing.
Please do not send us your Social Security number, your driver license number, or a firearm serial number through a web form. We do not need any of it to answer you, and the paperwork that does need it is done in person at the counter.
Google provides the analytics described above. Cloudflare hosts the site and provides its analytics. Resend delivers form submissions to our email. Supabase hosts our customer database. Alpine IQ sends our marketing email and our texts, and holds the addresses and numbers we send them to. Each of them handles the data only to provide that service. We do not sell your information, we do not trade it, and we do not hand it to anyone for their own marketing.
We will disclose information if the law requires it. Separately, and unrelated to this site, federal law requires us to keep firearm transaction records and make them available to the ATF. Those records come from the paperwork you complete in the store, never from this website.
The only cookies this site sets are the Google Analytics ones. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on, and the site will work exactly the same. We do not show a cookie banner, because analytics is all there is to consent to and turning it off does not change anything you can see.
This site is meant for adults and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.
Email [email protected] or call (254) 755-0080 and ask. We will delete what you sent us unless we are required to keep it. You do not have to explain why, and asking will not change how we treat you at the counter.
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it, and the effective date at the top moves. It is dated so you can tell whether you are reading something current.
